Target’s Brian Cornel Step Down As CEO Amid DEI Rollback
Looks like Target is shaking the table, with longtime CEO, Brian Cornell stepping down amid Poor sales performance and the rollback of their DEI investments.
Target has announced its current CEO Brian Cornell will be resigning, as Michael Fiddelke takes the helm as CEO. This news comes amid poor 3 quarter sales as well as the DEI rollback Target is struggling to keep up with its competitors; Walmart, Amazon, and Costco. According to the Associated Press, Target has roughly 1980 stores in the US and reported a 21% net income loss by the end of 3 quarter.
